Convert Bank Statement to Wave CSV
Convert a bank statement into a Date, Description and Amount CSV for Wave. Review signs and transactions before manual import.
Choose the source statement
Accepted: CSV, TSV, delimited TXT and selectable-text PDF Beta. Scanned or image-only PDF is Coming Soon.
Bank Auto prefers Transaction Date; credit-card Auto prefers Posting Date.
An unresolved result blocks Wave downloads.

Source data accounting
Only included posted transactions enter the Wave CSV. Every excluded source row remains in the audit.
Export
The primary output is always Date,Description,Amount with dates formatted as YYYY-MM-DD. Upload each account and currency separately and verify signs in Wave.

In Wave, choose the intended payment account, upload the CSV and map Date, Description and Amount.
Limitations
- Wave does not accept the source PDF directly.
- Each account and currency needs a separate import.
- No automatic categorization is performed.

Can I convert a PDF bank statement for Wave?
Yes, when the PDF has selectable text. PDF input is Beta, and scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported.
Does this connect to Wave?
No. You download the file and import it manually.
Is this an official Wave integration?
No. This is an independent file-conversion tool. Wave does not certify or endorse it.
