1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, including any public conversion tool or guide, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Bank File Flow provides browser-based utilities for converting, cleaning and reviewing bank-account and credit-card statement files (see /tools/ for the current list). It does not provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax, investment, legal or banking services, and nothing on this site should be treated as professional advice in any of those areas.
3. Permitted use
You may use the tools to convert and review files you have the right to process, for your own personal or business bookkeeping preparation, subject to these terms.
4. Prohibited use
You may not: use the service to process files you do not have the right to access; interfere with or attempt to bypass the website's security or access controls; automate abusive or excessive traffic against the site; use the tools for fraudulent financial activity, money laundering, or any other unlawful purpose; or copy, resell or rehost the service itself in a way that violates applicable law or these terms.
5. Your responsibility for files you process
You are responsible for having the right to process each file you select, for keeping your own copy of the original, for checking every converted output, and for deciding whether a converted file is suitable for your accounting or business purposes. The tools are designed to flag rows they cannot confidently resolve rather than guess, but reviewing flagged rows and totals before relying on any export remains your responsibility.
6. Local processing
The supported conversion tools are designed to process your selected file in your browser rather than uploading it to our server for that purpose. See the Security and Local Processing page and the Privacy Policy for the current technical boundaries and ordinary website-hosting data.
7. Intellectual property
The website's code, design and original written content belong to Bank File Flow or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute or create a competing service from this site's code or content without permission.
8. Third-party trademarks
Names such as QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho Books identify accounting platforms whose published import formats this site's tools are designed to be compatible with. Bank File Flow is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially certified by those companies, and their import requirements can change independently of this site.
9. Availability and changes to the service
Tools and features may change, be added, or be discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or any tool.
10. No guarantee of error-free conversion
File formats and the requirements of third-party accounting platforms vary and change over time. Every tool is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that every file will parse correctly, that every field will be preserved, or that any accounting platform will accept a given export without further review on your part.
11. Current public availability
The public conversion and editing tools are currently available without an account. Bank and accounting tools use the same 10 MB per-file upload limit on every plan; PDF Editor retains its separate plan-specific limits. If the service's availability or commercial terms change later, the relevant public pages and these terms will be updated before those changes apply.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bank File Flow is not liable for lost data, incorrect imports, duplicate or missing transactions, accounting errors, business interruption, or indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Termination
We may suspend or restrict access for use that violates these terms, including abusive, fraudulent or unlawful use, without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing law
A specific governing law and court jurisdiction have not yet been published for this service. This section will be completed, and these terms reviewed by a qualified professional, before the service is offered commercially in a given jurisdiction.
